Episode 16: Change Makers with Laura Thompson

This month on IN the NTWRK we’re talking to Change Makers - so, people who are taking creative action to solve a social problem, our second change maker is Laura Thompson, Gunditjmara woman who was at the forefront of the successful Free the Flag movement.

As co-founder and managing director of Aboriginal Streetwear Label and Social Enterprise, Clothing the Gaps, Laura has been creating fashion with purpose with the aim of being a visible voice of change.

As a change maker it’s no surprise that she has the first Indigenous business to be registered with Ethical Clothing Australia and was awarded Business of the year at the 2020 Dreamtime Awards.
